    Hazwoper 8 Hour Refresher

    This convenient 8 Hour Hazwoper Refresher Course is updated annually to reflect any changes in regulation and meets the requirements of OSHA CFR 1910.120 for 8 hours of annual refresher training.  This course serves as continuing education training for workers who have taken the pre requisite 24 or 40 Hour HAZWOPER course.

    This course is designed for workers who remove hazardous waste, or are exposed or potentially exposed to any kind of hazardous substance or health hazard in the course of their work.  Keep in mind that any worker exposed to hazardous or potentially hazardous substances must, at a minimum, take this refresher course annually to ensure adequate training.

    Hazwoper 24 Hour Course

    This 24 Hour Hazwoper Course has been designed for workers who have limited exposure to hazardous substances but still participate in clean-up operations or operations involving hazardous wastes at facilities, and controlled emergency response operations.  The course is ideal for students who fall into this category and do not need the full 40 Hour Hazwoper Course.

    This Hazwoper 24 Hour Course has one underlying goal: educate employees and employers on the skills of safety and health in the workplace.  In order to reach the goal of safe working practices on site, IE Safety Services has developed a comprehensive course that includes hazard identification, prevention, and remediation. This course is made up of 6 main units covering a variety topics.

    All of the modules in this Hazwoper Course are developed from the OSHA regulations of the hazardous waste standard 29 CFR 1910.120. At the completion of the course, the student will have many of the fundamental skills and tools necessary for hazardous and toxic waste handling and disposal. These skills will help keep you safe in many hazardous workplace situations.

    HAZWOPER 40 Hour Course

    This 40 Hour Hazwoper Course has been designed for, and is required to be taken by workers that will potentially be exposed to hazardous substances.  This can include clean-up operations or operations involving hazardous wastes at facilities, and the storage, treatment, or disposal of hazardous substances, as well as emergency response operations.

    This course was constructed in accordance with the OSHA standard for Hazwoper training, and is continually updated to ensure relevance in today’s safety environment.

    Each job site is unique, and can present different hazards and equipment requirements. That is why many of our students who select this Hazwoper 40 Hour training, couple it with the site-specific field experience from their employer.
